Welcome to Victory Heartsaver Academy - our heart institute for American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), and OSHA-compliant courses! We offer complete certification courses and exams to prepare healthcare and non-healthcare professionals to obtain their AHA BLS, Heartsaver, and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications! Read below to see what courses are offered to you.
The AHA's & ARC's BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in various in-facility and prehospital settings. The BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED.
Heartsaver First-Aid CPR & AED courses train anyone with little or no medical training to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
The Heartsaver Pediatric First-Aid/CPR & AED course trains participants on how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
The American Red Cross Asthma, EPI Pen Use, and O2 Emergency Use trains civilians and professionals in the safe and effective administration of Inhalers, EPI Pens, Bag Mask, and O2 usage for emergency situations. Highly recommended for caregivers and professionals in the workspace that works with common allergens that may trigger attacks and anaphylactic shock.
This is recommended for those with a risk of coming into contact with blood and bodily fluids. For example: Correctional Officers, Childcare Workers, Security Guards, Maintenance Workers, School Personnel, Hotel Housekeepers, Tattoo Artists, etc. The AHA & ARC Bloodborne Pathogens course teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for blood-borne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instructions.
Online & Onsite Options Available
Courses may be customized to fit your specific certification needs! Students may purchase these courses as virtual, instructor-led, or Blended format. AHA HeartCode courses may be requested to be completed online and in-person skills may be conducted at a site of the student's choice. For Online courses, supplies and workbooks may be mailed to students for an agreed fee.
